This week is the BIG WEEK! We are heading back to the rheumatologist on Thursday morning for another check-up for Mia. We are believing he will still be impressed with the improvements she has made and maybe, just MAYBE, we can start weaning her off of the naproxen. She has been on it for over a year now - 7.5 mls twice a day.
So, please keep Mia in your prayers this week!! I will post an update on Thursday to let you know what the results are of the appointment. :)

Good luck with the Appointment! I hope she continues to improve and can wean off the med. Are you going to see Dr. Lopez in Chelmsford? We saw Dr. Miller last time in Boston because she works the same day as the orthopedic doctor. It is easier to combine the appointments.We see her again in January.
Thank you!! Yes, we are hoping we can finally get her off of the meds and then we can start to add things back into her diet and see if it was the medicine or the diet that affected her joints.
We are going to see Dr. Lopez in Chelmsford. Thank you for the tip, btw! It was soooo much easier going to see him there than going all the way into Boston (with two wee ones in tow!). We've never seen Dr. Miller...is she new? We've seen Dr. Fish (sp?) before, though...
